Seagate Development Group has completed a custom home at Windward Isle, with three additional custom homes under construction. Named the 2019 Aurora Awards’ Residential Community of the Year, this luxurious and favorably located community is a gated enclave of 28 single-family residences within a discreet cul-de-sac on Airport-Pulling Road. It was developed by Seagate as Naples’ newest luxury home community in a choice area of world-class destinations. The completed custom home presents a Sea Breeze II floor plan. This two-story private residence offers over 4,300 square feet of living space – five bedrooms plus a study, five-and-one-half baths, and a three-car garage. The island kitchen unveils quartzite countertops, a Thermador dual fuel range that includes a warming drawer and a steam oven with Wi-Fi capability, perimeter cabinetry, a mosaic backsplash and tile wood-like flooring – which is also featured in the powder bath, the laundry room, the loft area (with a wire-brushed-finished wood floor in this space) and two of the guest bedrooms. The wet bar – just off the kitchen – is complete with an undercounter beverage center and a freestanding 84-inch Thermador wine cooler that holds 98 bottles. Meanwhile, the outdoor living area consists of an undercounter refrigerator, a custom grill, an enviable kitchen hood and brown leather countertops.
Some of the biggest distinctions in this custom home are a Carrara honed countertop and backsplash in the powder bath, matte porcelain flooring in the master bedroom – which also accommodates a single-bowl sink and a soaking tub – and a linear, porcelain-tile-surrounded fireplace wall feature at the lanai. Polished chrome plumbing complements the master, powder and guest baths. Appliances range from Thermador, Electrolux and Whirlpool to Lynx and U-Line.
Another custom home is currently under construction. This private residence presents the single-story Sea Breeze floor plan – with over 3,000 square feet of living space, three bedrooms plus a study, three-and-two-half baths, and a three-car garage. The exterior is pearly white as well as shades of slate gray and white. With crown molding inside, this house has a vaulted ceiling in the great room, along with beams and tongue in groove in each of the tray ceilings. The kitchen presents straight-edge white cabinetry, a single-bowl sink and an island with stained maple cabinetry. The kitchen and bar also consist of quartz countertops. The master bath features Carrara porcelain tile flooring, a soaking tub and quartz countertops, while the master bedroom accommodates carpeting. Meanwhile, porcelain tile flooring can be found in the laundry room and throughout all the bathrooms. Additionally, the outdoor living area is topped off with a flush spa and a tiled spillover as well as a raised-wall custom pool and raised columns.
This custom home is slated for completion in Winter 2022.
A third custom home under construction carries the two-story Grenada floor plan. This private residence features nearly 4,555 square feet of living space, including four bedrooms plus a den and a game room, four-and-two-half baths, and a three-car garage. Wire-brushed oak flooring and a quartz countertop can be found at the island kitchen. A bar with a beverage center is in the game room. The master bath accommodates polished chrome plumbing as well as Carrara porcelain flooring and quartz countertops. There are granite countertops in the outdoor living area, along with two poolside sun shelves and a raised spa with a tile spillway.
This custom home is projected to be complete in Spring 2022.
A fourth custom home just broke ground last month, with a turnover date in Summer 2022. It will feature the single-story Abacos floor plan – with over 3,000 square feet, three bedrooms plus a study, three-and-one-half baths, and a three-car garage. Further details on this and two other custom homes breaking ground next month – with the Cayman II and Grenada II floor plans – will be announced soon.
Now completely sold out, Windward Isle offered eight one- and two-story, fully customizable floor plans by Seagate. They accommodate 2,500 to over 4,000 square feet of living space. That includes three to five bedrooms, three to five-and-one-half baths, and a two- to three-car garage. The Abacos floor plan received the Collier Building Industry Association’s Sand Dollar Award for Product Design of the Year, while the Cayman II was awarded the Collier Building Industry Association’s Parade of Homes Overall Excellence in Construction and Design.
Attractive features that come standard in all Windward Isle homes are coastal, West-Indies-style architecture, decorative aluminum shutters and cypress wood corbels, a flat concrete tile roof with metal roof accents and a custom swimming pool. Standard design interiors range from tray and volume ceilings to hardwood and porcelain tile floors as well as designer carpets. There is even wood cabinetry in the kitchen, a stainless-steel refrigerator with an ice maker in the laundry room and a freestanding tub, large walk-in closets, under-mount sinks and a frameless shower enclosure in the master suite. While these are some of the most popular finishes, they are customized according to each homeowner’s desire and from many standard offerings.

A fourth model home is under contract and breaking ground soon. There are also six custom homes in the works. At Hill Tide Estates, Seagate is constructing two model homes – with one of those under contract. Another model home is under contract and breaking ground next month, while a fourth model is breaking ground soon. At Esplanade Lake Club, Seagate just sold three model homes and is nearing completion on a custom home, with seven additional custom homes in the works. In addition to taking on remodeling projects in Mediterra, Remington at Bay Colony, Collier’s Reserve, Wyndemere, Connors, Audubon and on Sanibel Island, among many other communities throughout Southwest Florida, Seagate will start new projects in Quail West soon.
